School Rules and Regulations
1. a) SCHOOL MOTTO: Discipline for success
b) School Mission: To prepare and produce a person who is intellectually, physically and
Spiritually able to fit in a dynamic global society.
c) School Vision: Establish a centre of academic excellence
a) Every student must attend all classes unless otherwise permitted by either the subject
teacher, teacher on duty, the D/P or the principal.
b) All preps are compulsory and silence must be maintained during preps
3. PUNCTUALITY: All students must be punctual at all times for classes, assembly, games, clubs/societies and meals.
4. DUTIES: All students must perform all duties assigned to them perfectly and at the right time.
5. OBEDIENCE: All school authorities must be obeyed strictly prefects, non teaching staff and the surrounding community)
6. SCHOOL UNIFORM: The proper school uniform must be worn at all times and for all school functions.
7. DRUGS: Use of any illicit drug is totally prohibited e.g alcohol, bhang, cigarettes e.t.c.
a) No student should leave the school compound without written permission duly signed by the teacher on duty, DP or the principal.
b) Permission to spend the night out can only be granted by the DP or the principal after the duty teacher signs it.
c) The leave –out – sheet must be returned to the teacher on duty after the expiry of the permission granted.
d) No sick student should/lie in the dorms without permission from the teacher on duty, the deputy principal or the principal.
9. SCHOOL PROPERTY
a) School property like books, chairs, utensils, slashers, pangas, jembes etc must be handled with great care.
Damaged will be paid for (compensated) by the individual(s) concerned.
b) Water and electricity must be used economically.
c) Items such as brooms, lashers etc must be returned to the person(s) incharge the store after use.
10. CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITEIS
Every student must belong to at least one (1) club or society.
Sports and games are compulsory unless with special permission from a government medical officer. All sports and games must be taken seriously.
11. DINING HALL
a) All meals must be taken in the Dining Hall.
b) The kitchen is out of bounds to all students.
c) All students must be seated while taking their meals.
d) Visitors must never be served food or tea in the D/H unless with permission.
e) The school will not give special diet to any student.
12. SNEAKING OUT OF SCHOOL
a) Any student found having sneaked out of the school either during the day or at night will be severely punished.
b) All students must enter and leave the school through the main gate only.
Stealing of school property or from other students will be treated as police case which may finally lead to severe disciplinary action.
Any form of violence is prohibited among students. Any student(s) found fighting or proved to have engaged in a fight will either be suspended or handed over to the police.
a) This is an outdated behavior and any student caught molesting or suspected to have molested a new student will either be recommended for expulsion by the B.O.G or handled over to the police depending on the magnitude of the harm caused.
b) All forms of harassment either verbal threats, beating or assigning duties to new students are strictly forbidden.
16. AREAS OUT OF BOUNDS
a) Staff quarters are out of bounds for all students.
b) The staffroom and the staff verandah are out of bounds for students unless permission is granted to be there.
a) Visitors are not allowed in the school compound except with special permission from the office.
b) Visitors must not be taken into classrooms, dormitories, laboratories, library etc.
a) All punishment given must be carried out properly and exhaustively during the student(s) free time.
b) The culprit(s) must have his/her punishment inspected before proceeding to class.
a) A student should strictly avoid abseetism at all times either from meals, games, preps or class unless with permission from the teacher on duty, any other teacher, the DP or the principal.
Speaking of any other language apart from English or Kiswahili is strictly prohibited within the school compound and during all school functions outside the school.
No student should report to the school after 5.00 p.m. when opening, reporting from half-term or when out of school during school functions or public holidays.
Any student breaking this rule will be suspended from school the following day and must report back accompanied by the parent/guardian.
22. MOBILE PHONES, VCD AND DVD DISCS
a) Mobile phones and any other communication gadgets are banned in school for students. Any student found in procession of the gadget will be suspended from school.
b) Students should not bring VCD/DVD Discs to school. They will confiscated and punishment given.
Exams are compulsory to all students
24. ALWAYS REMEMBER:-
